Carolina Eastern-Crocker, LLC currently employs 30 full-time employees. This includes Sales personnel, Office personnel, Truck Drivers, Custom Applicators, Plant Laborers and Mechanics.
We are now looking to hire a full-time Assistant Plant Manager, a full-time Production Assistant and a full-time Commercial or Apprentice Applicator.
We also employ around 35 seasonal workers, Class A and Class B CDL drivers and General Laborers, starting in March/April every year. A large majority of our full-time staff began as seasonal workers.

Administrative Specialist - Full Time: Pavilion
• Will be responsible for all aspects of administrative duties in a small office setting.
• Must be conscientious, organized, and be able to keep paperwork processed accurately and timely.
• Will be responsible for coordinating purchase orders and deliveries with seed vendors, learning batch system for fertilizer programs, answering phones, and coordinating daily job duties with plant staff with the managers direction.
• Monday-Friday, with some Saturdays in the Spring.
• $20-$26 per hour based on qualifications.

Commercial Applicator or Apprentice Applicator – Full-Time: Pavilion
Seeking experienced licensed commercial applicator or apprentice to safely and accurately apply agriculture crop protection products, fertilizer and lime at various farm locations. If not currently licensed, must be willing to acquire Pesticide Technician license and attend required training and points courses. Maintenance and repair of equipment is also needed in the off season.
Pay range $20 - $27 per hour based on qualifications with full benefit package.

CDL Class A & B Drivers – Seasonal
CEC is presently recruiting CDL Class A or B Drivers, looking for seasonal employment. These jobs consist of the safe pick-up and delivery of agricultural products such as dry or liquid crop nutrients, ag crop protection products, seed, and other agricultural products.
• Pay range $25 per hour, overtime and retention bonuses offered!
• Varied daily schedule. Will be required to work extended hours during peak season, including Saturdays, often weather dependent.
• Tanker endorsement is a plus!
• Must have a clean, valid, CDL license and pass the pre-employment drug screening.

General Laborers – Seasonal
CEC is presently recruiting General Laborers who complement our workforce and, in spring and summer, help us meet the needs of the agricultural community. These jobs would consist of assisting with the daily operational duties at our facilities, both indoors and outdoors. Experience with an articulating loader, a forklift or skid steer is a plus. Some lifting is required. All safety and compliance issues are adhered to.
